Some arenas are mainly used to host prestigious, more intimate tournaments while others are home to some of the largest tournaments in the sport.

William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center, Washington, DC

This tennis Center hosts the Citi Open, ATP World Tour, and the WTA Tour also known as the  Washington Open and is located in the center of Washington, DC’s Rock Creek Park.

Surface: The William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center is composed of hard surface outdoor courts.
Capacity: 7,500 spectators

During the time when this tennis center is not hosting the Washington Open, it also serves as a public tennis facility.

Louis Armstrong Stadium, Flushing, Queens, New York City

Located in Flushing, Queens, New York City, Louis Armstrong Stadium is part of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center that currently hosts the US Open.

Capacity: Prior to it’s latest construction, this stadium was able to hold 18,000 spectators. It now holds a little over 10, 000 spectators.

Arthur Ashe Stadium, Flushing, Queens, New York City

The main stadium at the US Open, Arthur Ashe Stadium, is named after Arthur Ashe -the first ever US Open winner in 1968.

Capacity: This stadium is the largest in the tennis world as it can hold a little over 23,000 spectators.

Court Philippe Chatrier – Roland Garros, Paris, France

Constructed in 1928, the Court Philippe Chatrier 21 acre, 20 court iconic tennis complex is home to the French Open.
